Details: Underpriviledged children in Zirakpur donot have footwear. This results in injury as well as exposure to cold and heat (depending upon the weather conditions) from the ground which is also dirty. Vidyakavach Volunteers have researched footwear vendors in the local area and the best rate for a pair of shoes will cost Rs 250-Rs 300 per pair (Approximately US $5 per pair)
